By John Thompson It's the winter 1916 and Russia's on the eve of the Bolshevik revolution. In a cold, dingy room at the top of a slum dwelling, two friends are hiding from their landlord. The friends share a very common problem– they have no money. Finally, out of desperation, they decide to rent out one of their beds to a lodger. However, the stranger's arrival creates a very unexpected result...
