Bastille Week
Exchange Theatre presents
THE 4th Edition of BASTILLE THEATRE WEEK
Since 2006, Echange Theatre Company has been dedicated to translating, producing and promoting plays from a French background. Based in London, created by Fanny Dulin, a French actress living and working in London and David Furlong, an actor/director trained at the Paris National Theatre, Exchange Theatre premiered the English translations of THE EXCHANGE by Paul Claudel, at the Hackney Empire, BAL TRAP by Xavier Durringer (selected Off Broadway in May 2011), a DOUBLE BILL of Feydeau farces at the Brockley Jack Theatre (“Exchange Theatre has done a service making those plays available in English” ) and the revival of The Flies by Jean-Paul Sartre at Camden People Theatre (“Incredibly intense” The Scotsman).
Every second week of July, Exchance Theatre present some work in French and English and this is this year marks the fourth edition.
At the Lion and Unicorn from the 10th to the 17th of July.

Has anyone never thought of it?” Through her testimony, she plays all the characters of the massacre and the trial becomes hilarious. In the pale light of a theatre, who can judge her? New writing flirts with great stand up comedy. In French

Thursday 14th and Saturday 16th: English Double Bill
Dear Wallis de Juliette Quenin
John, the beloved son, died at war. Wallis, his mother, does not want to grieve. Why would she? Through the Talking Board, Dignity subtly manipulates Wallis' fears and superstitions. In English
Excusez me de Benedict Cooper
