Ciarán Cunningham

Technical Manager and Lighting Designer

Ciarán trained at East 15 Acting School where he gained a BA Honors in Technical Theatre (Lighting Design) . He then went on to work full time for Terry Tew Sound & Light Ltd. Now working as freelance Lighting Designer/Production Manager creating lighting Designs for Dance, Theatre & music, working with established artists and up & coming new companies. He has also taken on the Technical Manager's position at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre, which operates under Giant Olive Theatre and is the resident Lighting Technician at The Actors Church Covent Garden. He also has gone on to Lighting Design for directors,choreographers and companies such as: Mark Baldwin, Richard Alston, Martin Lawrance, Jonathan Goddard, Antonia Franceschi, Patsy Rodenburg, Matthew Xia, Simon Collier, Ray Shell, Shane Dempsey, Up and Over It, Chris Dugdale, Ballet Black, Urban Development, Fragments (International Ensemble), Church BoyZ, Black Gecko Dance Company and Community Arts North West.
